At KLiK, we are a small, close-knit team of passionate photographers, specializing in people and event photography. We photographed so many amazing families and weddings over the course of 10 years before transitioning full time into the commercial photography realm. Today, we STILL love to capture a handful of weddings each year, by word-of-mouth only.
As a team of seasoned photographers, we will approach your wedding the same way we approach any of our shoots. We'll meet or speak with you in advance to understand your photography goals, work with you as we develop a photography timeline, identify the key shots that are important to you, and have a blast getting to know each other!
We document weddings as a duo (or trio - depending on the wedding size and/or shot list), which allows us to get diverse and well-rounded coverage. We look to capture everything from wide establishing shots to raw documentary-style moments, and of course, those close up detail shots. Each of us contributes a unique yet complementary photographic perspective with one common goal; to capture the special moments that you’ll want to remember.
We feel it's a privilege to photograph the intimate bond and expression of love that exists between people. Whether traditional or non-traditional, individuals or families, we find joy in celebrating life’s memorable moments.
Erin Riddle - Owner
Erin is the epitome of an extrovert who loves socializing and meeting new people. She has a naturally upbeat, high-energy personality that puts people at ease. Photography is one of her greatest passions, but when she's not behind the camera, you can find her in her garden, cooking, or creating floral arrangements. Erin is a wife, mother, daughter and sister, and lives in SW Portland with her family. She is an animal and nature lover, and regularly volunteers her photography services to a variety of charities in the greater Portland area.
Erin has been a professional photographer since founding her first photography business in 2011 - Parallel Photography. During that time, her focus was on capturing families and weddings. She has a deep love for people and has made lifelong friends through her work. In 2015, she founded her second photography business - KLiK Concepts - to provide photo and video marketing imagery for businesses small and large. Erin has worked with some amazing companies across Oregon AND still photographs many of the same families she began documenting 10 years ago.
Erin was born and raised in S. California and fell in love with photography at the age of 18 when she moved to Portland and bought her first camera. Within a few years she had photographed her first wedding, propelling her into the art of people photography. In the last decade she has traveled through 14 countries and 3 continents, where she has thrived on documenting the people, culture and traditions that make each place special and unique. Photography has opened up an avenue through which Erin has met incredible people and had the privilege to participate in many special moments of their lives.
Erin received a Bachelors Degree in Art and Interior Design from Marylhurst University and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. Through the years, Erin has studied and worked in a variety of creative-based fields including photography, multi-media art, and disciplines including graphic, interior, landscape and urban design. Her keen eye for composition and design-based background has led her to look for the beauty in the most intricate details, which she aims to capture through her photography.
